Stucco Repair & Patching

Make It Right. Make It Last.

Crack repair, water-damage rebuilds, and patches that actually disappear into the wall instead of shouting from the curb.

Patching stucco is a craft. Bad patches stand out for years — wrong texture, wrong color, wrong depth. We've been color- and texture-matching residential and commercial stucco in Los Angeles for 30 years. When we walk away, you can't tell where the patch was.

What's Included

  • Hairline and structural crack repair
  • Water-intrusion rebuilds (lath, paper, brown, finish)
  • Failed-patch remediation
  • Color and texture matching to existing wall
  • Wood-trim and window-opening rework
  • Insurance-claim documentation and bids

How It Works

  1. 1

    Diagnose

Most stucco failures are a water problem, not a stucco problem. We figure out why first.

  2. 2

    Cut Back

Cut back to sound stucco, replace lath and paper if needed, install proper flashing.

  3. 3

    Three-Coat Patch

Scratch, brown, finish — applied to thickness, moist-cured, blended to existing texture.

  4. 4

    Color Match

Mock-up swatches on the wall, dial in the color and texture, then commit.

  5. 5

    Final Walk

You should not be able to find the patch. If you can, we keep working.

Common Questions

Hairline cracks are normal and cosmetic. Stair-step or diagonal cracks at openings often mean a deflection or water issue underneath. We diagnose the cause before we patch — otherwise it just comes back.

Southwest Stucco re-stuccoed our whole house and the result is unreal. The crew was on time every single morning, swept the driveway every night, and the finish is exactly what they showed us on the sample board. Hard to find a contractor like this anymore.

We had cracking around two windows after a small leak. They diagnosed the actual cause (failed flashing), fixed it, and patched the stucco so cleanly I literally cannot find where the patch was. Fair price, no upsell.

I'm a GC and I've used a lot of stucco subs. Southwest is the only one I keep going back to. They bid honestly, schedule realistically, and walk the job clean. My homeowners are always happy.
